DECIDING BETWEEN METALLIC & NON-METALLIC AIR OPERATED DIAPHRAGM PUMPS

LETS TAKE A LOOK

NON-METALLIC PUMPS

Non-metallic AODD pumps are manufactured for superior corrosion resistance. Aro Replacement pumps have a polypropylene body and casing made from Polypropylene, Kynar, or Acetal. The diaphragm and fasteners are also constructed of corrosion-resistant materials. Typical applications for non-metallic air operated diaphragm pumps include corrosive and abrasive fluids such as those found in water and wastewater treatment applications.

METALLIC PUMPS

Metallic AODD pumps have a casing made from stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum. Diaphragm materials include PTFE, Santoprene Nitrile, and other highly durable elastomers and compounds. These pumps are designed to handle harsh substances found in oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, ceramic, and paint applications.
